No one is born philosopher! Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Goethe, Allama Iqbal, John Keats, Helen Keller, Sir Winston Churchill, or religiously speaking, the Prophets were indeed human being. When they sharpened themselves either to collect-n-analyze their own observations and deep sight to learning or some miracle of God bestowed qualities – for prophets, they became great hero of the world. Remarkably, “I want to die knowing one more thing”* were accelerating mottos of that people and at last our history praises as a mile stones. Certainly there are many ways to learn and improve the horizon of ones knowledge. A vast kingdom of perception and intelligence requires a constant and “a drop by drop” addition of new experiences and observations into the library of intelligence in ones brain. Consequently the personality of that person gets improved and he becomes up dated. Improvement is a constructive and continuous process. One can infer then that no one is perfect but perfection can be achieved by past experiences and personal wisdom.

Apart from many other factors which widen ones view points, book reading is an important and easy way of civilizing one’s identity. Books, as said, are the best companions to anyone. The reason can be pivoted on a fact that we can keep them with us no matter if we are traveling, sitting free in some park, waiting for the traffic signal to become green, riding horses etc... Of course, while one is cooking one can utilize some of her time to expand the wisdom.

When you read an interesting book – one which is somehow describing your situations – it leads you into another world. This process is in fact the same – learning by doing. One can also state it learning by learning the experiences of the others. So simple! Isn’t that?

Reading a book keeps a man busy which is indeed far better doing rough stuffs. One saves his energies and thoughts from useless imaginations. As said, “An idle brain is devils workshop” so it’s worthy to keep our brain cell working. In other words one can energize the brain-batteries by keeping them busy in going thought an interesting book. Actually it is not only the books which can fulfill such a criteria just any piece of paper written with some articles, essays, information, technological review, even the back sides of the packages would be interesting to provide you marvelous piece of information. Interaction, analyzing abilities, view points, capability to listen and understand, judging and ranking that topic written in the book under study are some of the tokens for a positive improvement in ones personality which anyone can easily master.

Modern technology can also be used in order to improve oneself. For example sitting in front of computer could be very helpful in piling up educational stacks. The main theme is to add information and then interpret in a way that it comes a part of ones personality. Consequently, a person upgrading his personality targets to get informative awareness by seeking the e-books, some interesting articles, or by integrating himself to some platforms in order to express an talk about his own “observation” on the internet websites. Million articles, essays, and instructive resources are available. Not only written material is available but also tremendous audible lectures and video are shared on demand.

The noteworthy thing at the beginning of the journey on the road to self-improvement is to take a book of general knowledge and keep it near to your bed side-table. At night when you are going to bed, dim the main bulb, shake the pillow up and rest you back against the head rest, take that piece of “information”, just award only15 – 20 minutes. Read only a page or two, and leave something for the next night as a target to achieve. Sometimes you will get suspense to read further if that article interests you much. Least but not the last, if that stored information is utilized in ones daily life; one can show and feel the brightness in daily life! A friendly environment, jolly mode, activeness and optimism will be somehow visible in your actions and one can get a lot for which one strives!
