Law of Attraction-Make It A Habit

The Law of Attraction principles are based on metaphysics and have been spoken of by the greatest thinkers, writers and leaders throughout time—Plato, Aristotle, Albert Einstein, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Dale Carnegie, The Power of Positive Thinking, Carl Jung; “What you resist persists.” Buddha, “All that we are is a result of what we have thought.”

“The first philosophy (Metaphysics) is universal and is exclusively concerned with primary substance. ... And here we will have the science to study that which is just as that which is, both in its essence and in the properties which, just as a thing that is, it has. ....That among entities there must be some cause which moves and combines things. ... There must then be a principle of such a kind that its substance is activity.” (Aristotle, Metaphysics 340BC)

Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that examines the nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value. Mind and matter are comprised of energy—energy has impact. Thus, thoughts are things—thoughts create something. The something that is created is dependent on what the thoughts are. Like attracts like—thus, if you think positive thoughts, you attract positive things. If you think negative thoughts you attract negative things. The question, “What were you thinking?,” has a greater significance than a mere expression of incredulity. “What were you thinking?,” can be the beginning to make better choices now or in the future. “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,” Proverbs 23:7; “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, either way you are right,” Henry Ford.

The Law of Attraction is quite simple--anything you want to manifest is possible. It is through consistency, persistency, focus and understanding of your desire and connection to this thing that makes manifest that which you want to attract.

As you have probably noted, every person, who has ever achieved anything significant in their lives has done so through consistency, persistency and focus. Thomas Edison holds a world record of 1093 patents for inventions such as the light bulb and phonograph. Edison died October 1931, astonishingly no one has surpassed his patent record. Thomas Edison was asked if he was discouraged because he had 100 failures in his quest to invent the light bulb. “Discouraged! Edison exclaimed, I am closer to inventing the light bulb, I already know 100 ways how not to invent a light bulb, the next idea may be the one that works.” Would Edison have invented the light bulb without his habit of consistency, persistency and focus? Maybe, but it undoubtedly would have taken longer.

• Consistency is created when you form positive good habits that support your desire.
• Persistency is created when you forge ahead in spite of any set-backs, interferences or perceived failures—like Edison.
• Focus is created when you combine positive thoughts and feelings (known as the Law of Attraction) with your actions and desires until you attract that thing into your life.
• You cannot manifest a desire by just focusing on it and NOT taking action.
• You cannot get exactly what you desire by just taking blind action.

Have you ever taken consistent action towards a goal and found yourself in a different place than you planned to be?

How can that be? It is a failure to have consistent focus; failure to use your thoughts and feelings to guide your actions to the end goal. You probably had plenty of action—long hours, hard work—but you still did not achieve your goal.

The Habit of Attraction is the practice of combining habit creation (a consistent and persistent set of actions towards a goal or desire) and the Law of Attraction (giving your attention, energy, and focus to your desire) to manifest anything you want. When you create a "habit plan" and allow the principles of the Law of Attraction to guide your way, it makes it nearly impossible to not get exactly what you want.

The Habit of Attraction can be applied to any desire:

• Money and Abundance
• New job
• New car, boat, airplane
• New house
• Clothes
• Promotion
• Vacation
• Finding Love and Better Relationships
• Better Health
• Your Life Purpose
• Making a difference in the world
• and anything else you desire

After 60 years of manifesting my desires, I am delighted to share this proven Law of Attraction with you. If you are skeptical, start with something small—then work on something big. I manifest everything every day—including this article—by using the habit of attraction.
